Did reading history and romantic novels, movieso childhood stories make females like flowers after a breakup?

I love flowers.My ex used to send me large beautiful boquets on Valentines Day and my birthday, which is around Mother's Day. He would have to spend well over $100 for every boquet since it was "prime time" of sending flowers. I would always tell him to give me half the cash instead and send me the same boquet dring the "off season" for alot less money. Life is to short to cause an argument and play games.
