Is McCain's use of Ayers in Obama's campaign a payback to Ayers objection to the Vietnam war 40 years ago?

Mostly it's just a way of smearing Obama, since McSAME has ran out of issues, and is losing badly.Subliminally however, it is pay back for Ayers' opposition to the Viet Nam war. Similarly to Bushit taking out Saddam in reprisal for threatening Daddy Bush.
