I get SSDI child benefits will I get Medicare forever too?

I was wondering since I get disability benefit I have Medicare because of it. The thing I'm confuse about is I also got a kidney transplant too and so Medicare suppose to stop after 36 mth after transplant as people say. I get SSDI so will my transplant affect Medicare eventhough I have a disability? Does that mean I won't have health coverage after that or I do b/c of my disability?
