Client wants to bring in another designer.?

As a web designer building a site with SEO in mind is just part of the process, there really isn't a ton of things that someone can do to a site. It's all about content keywords and backlinks, so if I was you I would try and talk to the client and let them know that you can take care of the SEO stuff and there is no reason to hire a specialist.
